Oceans 5 is the newest dive shop on Gili Air and offers fun dives (dives for certified divers with a guide) and all PADI, Reef Check and IAHD courses.

Owned by a Dutch couple that made their dreams reality, Oceans 5 is a dive shop that offers quality in a beautiful setting.

Oceans 5 is situated in the harbor and has 24h access to more than 20 different dive sites around the islands. Oceans 5’ house reef is located right in front of the dive shop; all the other dive sites are only a short boat ride away.

The Dive Shop

Located on the beach and surrounded by palm trees, you can find our dive shop in the harbor of Gili Air. A traditional old Javanese Joglo is transferred into our office and classroom. For pool sessions we use our 25m pool with sundeck.

Everything is accessible for people in wheelchairs as well.

Multilingual instructors can teach you in Dutch, English, German, French and Italian. We teach in groups of maximum 4 students so that every student feels safe and comfortable.

Big Bubble - Gili Terawangan

Big Bubble Dive is a fully licensed PADI Centre. Big Bubble have experienced PADI Instructors working year round, who teach in English, French, Spanish and Indonesian. They also have teaching materials available in many other languages. The courses they offer are:

FREE INTRODUCTION DIVE:
See if you like diving…we can take you in the pool with all the scuba equipment. If you feel comfortable, then maybe you’ll want to continue on to one of the other courses. This FREE pool introduction dive is also available for children age 8 and above.

DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING:
A one day course, which includes the very basics of diving theory, one session in the pool and one dive to 12m in the open water.

SCUBA DIVER:
A two day course, with theory, a skills session in the pool, and two open water dives to 12m. Essentially the Scuba Diver Course is half of the Open Water Course. Completion of this course means you will be certified to dive to 12m, but only when accompanied by a PADI Dive master or higher qualification.
